Where is the mango sourced?
The mango is sourced directly from the growers. The majority is from all over Queensland (including our own farm) but sometimes we also get fruit from a grower in the Northern Territory.
The fruit that we receive is misshapen, has tree rub marks, is too small or too big, but it’s still perfect to us. It has no home to go to as markets think they are not good enough, but we give them a life turning them into a gorgeous dried fruit treat that everyone loves.
Why do customers love our dried mango so much?
Because it tastes like real mango. It doesn’t taste sugary like so much of the imported dried mango that has approximately 40% sugar and lots of sulphur.
What are some ways you can use our dried mango?
- As a snack with or between meals.
- Kids particularly love the dried fruits in their snacks as they are like a sweet treat.
- Travelling and hiking is also a perfect way of taking fruit without it being spoiled.
