How we monitor the quality of our mango
The best test is smelling and eating them ourselves! Tough job… The smell of mango is sensational as they ripen.
We try them by eating one (or three!) from the bin to check that they are ripe (only test conditions of course… we don’t eat while working!).
The colour is also a dead giveaway. Sometimes a pale mango when cut shows it is not ready.
