Tasty Treat Cacao Energy Balls
Whip up a treat for yourself as a snack on the go or to pop in your lunchbox for work as a delicious morning or afternoon quick bite.
Cacao Energy Balls
Ingredients
- ½ cup walnuts- soak in hot water for 10 mins then drain
- ½ cup Gin Gin and Dry dried figs
- ¾ cup almond meal
- ¼ cup honey
- ¾ cups coconut shuddered
- ½ cup Gin Gin and Dry dried strawberries
- ¼ cacao powder
- Desiccated coconut for rolling
Method
- Place all the drained walnuts in processor and pulse a couple of times.
- Then add the strawberries and pulse a couple more times .
- Then add all other ingredients and pulse until mixture come together. You may have to push the mixture into the blade during the mixing.
- Roll into balls and then roll in the coconut.
- Place in fridge to firm up.
- Taste the finished product!
